Left corner of the house. You can see the small tree we planted
between our lot and our neighbors. We are hoping that the two
trees we planted will one day block the noise from those darn
kids and their 4 wheelers, Go Karts, Dirt Bikes, etc.... |
Window on the left is for our "Wizard of Oz" Guest
Room. (Kimberly got her way with that one). The window on the
right goes into our office. If you would take a picture now
of the front of the house you would see a stone wall taking
shape to hide the concrete pipe.

This is the third tree we planted. We are hoping
it will provide a good cover one day between the views from our
deck, and those of our neighbors |

Continuing the planting trend here is Sam planting his new
grape vines in the backyard. (They are dead now)
|
|
Taking the gardening to the next step, Sam decides to borrow
a tiller from John Justice and get a garden installed in the
backyard. If you notice the shadows on the ground you might
think... "hey, can you have a successful garden in the
shade?" The answer to that is... no, no you can't.

After we moved in to the new house we decided to spiff up the
guest bathroom. Kimberly added a very nice blue color to one
wall and we added a few colorful mats, shower curtains, &
other bathroom trinkets.

After we finished the bathroom we decided to add a bit of color
to the Master Bedroom. Neither of us wanted a "Dark"
feeling, but we liked the look it gives to a room. To compromise
we decided to color half the wall and add a chair rail.

This is after two coats of paint. We failed to realize that
you should use a grey primer before painting with dark colors...
Oh well, live and learn!
